Premium Nappies

How much does it cost for baby nappies and food weekly?

Expecting our first so would just like an estimate based on what it has cost yourself :-)

  1. It depends, if you are breastfeeding, it costs a lot less then when you have to buy food! And nappies the same actually. In the beginning I'd use about 10 nappies a day, but now at 5 months I use about 6 to 7 nappies a day. All depends on the brand you choose!
  2. depends on if you are breastfeeding, formula cost about $20-30 a week US and then diapers for a newborn are about $20 a week also,
  3. i spend six pound a week on baby as u only really need one tub a week and maybe bout six pound a week for nappys
  4. Breastfeeding is free. Formula costs about $4,000 / year (about $75/ week) ... according to Enfamil. We use cloth. Despite the initial investment (less if you buy on e-bay) and slightly inconvenient extra laundry, it will save you at least 50% on your first baby. The great part is that you can resell the diapers, or save them for your next, so that the cost the 2nd time around is nearly non-existant.
  5. I would estimeate around $50 for formula and diapers in VA. I use Similac and huggies suppremes. This is for one week.
  6. I buy the cheap diapers, which cost about 6 dollars a pack and formula which is anywhere from 12- 23 dollars a can depending on whether you buy brand name or not. About 2 packs of diapers a week and a can of formula a week, so about 40 dollars a week? If you're breastfeeding, it's free!!
