What nappies do you use?? I have tried so many different brands but have constant leakage?
When my baby has a poo (TMI sorry lol) it often leaks through to her clothes. Does anyone else have this problem?? - I have tried active fit - still no luck

- I always found Huggies by far the best for my son, who had the same problem.
- Thats disposables for you! If you want to reduce the leakage you need to swtich to cloth, the day we did we never had a blow-out again :)
- I buy ''Huggies'' their the best. & iff you buy home brand nappies or black & gold brand nappies then the urine will leak it wont hold for not very long at all.
- I use Tots Bots modern cloth nappies and have never had a leak...and we have big runny breastfed baby poos:) ha ha!
- I have the same prob at the mo boots' own brand are the best! Its just a case of trial and error i think!
- Try a smaller size of nappy sounds like they could be too big around the legs hence the leakage
- I think that happens with newborns no matter what brand of diapers you use but I love Pampers Swaddlers. And when they get older Pampers Cruisers. Just try to get a diaper with the strechy sides.
- for runny poo huggies are best. they have a nice snug fit and have this catcher in the back so if the poo travels up the back then it's caught there.
- i tried pampers with mine and they are rubbish huggies seemed to do the trick with mine. are you getting the right size as sometime they leak when they too small or big
- It could be a size problem rather than a brand issue, we used pampers new baby and then moved onto Active fit but have never had this problem, we've never been able to use Huggies though because they gave my son nappy rash, so success of different brands will vary from child to child and what might work for us may not work for you.
- I had the same problem when I used pampers nappies especially at night time. I found Huggies to be the best ones
- i use sainsburys own nappies, they are cut higher than pampers or huggies so prevent leakage that way. if your nappies are leaking have you tried using a bigger or smaller sixe to see if that could be it?
- huggies are good. but then my daughter went through a stage where she saved it up for 4 days and there was no way ANY nappy could hold that amount of poop!! it was quite regular so on "poo day" i left her in her pjs and we didn't leave the house till she'd done it!! bugger cleaning that up in public or at MIL's house!!
- I love Huggies. I think the size suggestion is worth looking into
- I have tried every nappy on the market and find pampers baby dry by far the best. Try the ext size up as the bigger ones are more absorbant. However the nture of baby poo means it will always leak, as it is runny and there tends to be a lot of it the nappy does not have time to absorb it before it leaks ! It will stop once it becomes more solid. Hope this helps a little :)
- I had the same problem. Breastfed babies usually have this problem because it is SO runny. Are you sure that you don't need to move up a size? I am a first time mom and didn't get the clue that my son was getting too big for his size 1 diapers and COULD NOT for the life of me figure out why every time he pooped it was going out the top of his diaper! He could still wear the size 1's but there was no room for the poop to go so it went out the top EVERY TIME. So I moved up a size and it only happened every once in a while. I think its unavoidable sometimes. And I always make sure that the guards on the leg parts are not tucked in (run my finger along them) because if they are it will leak that way. I use White Cloud diapers because they are affordable but good unlike Luvs. I find that they are just as good as the expensive ones. Hope this helped :)
- We have also tried all kinds, and the best ones we found to be Pampers... You do also have to be careful of how tight you close them (with all brands), you need to be able to fit 2-3 fingers (no more or less) at the top otherwise they are likely to leak or be too tight regardless of the brand.
- Huggies were top choice for me.
- ive tried lots of nappies and for the last 4months ive used lidls and never went past them. i had leakages from huggies, pampers and own brands. they r also must cheaper than pampers the r £5.00 for 50 hope this helps.x
- Pampers for girls- huggies for boys is the general rule of thumb! How old is your baby? Check that you are using the right size nappies.
- We use Huggies, pampers and tesco. You don't say how old your child is. Our baby used to have poo accidents when he was very little, and I'm not sure any nappy would have stopped that leaking! But he very rarely has accidents now he's older (9 months). If your baby is older (I note you have tried active fit so babe must be a few months) then may be it might be something as simple as checking her nappy every 30 mins to 1 hour, and trying to catch it before it gets out of hand. She may just be a big pooer though!! xx
- It sounds like you are using the wrong size nappies! What about a diaper cover? That may help..
- I found that when leaks started it meant it was time to move up a size - which was usually after I'd just bought a bumper-sized pack of the smaller ones!
- Just depends on what sex your baby is i've only had boys 6of them and tried loads but found Huggies are the bast for lads and my friends as 3 girls and she only used Pampers .
- Pampers have always suited both of my children, I have a boy and a girl. I have been advised that Morrisons own brand nappies supposed to be really good, although I have never tried them,
