- i only bought one package of newborn and one size one bc you dont know what size ur baby will be or how quick he will grow into a one.
- Each baby is different. I wouldn't stock up too much on specific brand until you know it will work for your baby. Some says certain brands leak more...etc. Costco sells Huggies but not Pampers. They are cheaper for sure!
- walmart definatly has the cheapest of any kind. dont get so much newborn just yet, your baby may not even fit in them
- i used parent choice with my twin boys but in the begining i have got a crap load of diapers from my shower an i loved huggies but now i like parent choice an soft stretch..i get parent choice from walmart but do comparing an see.. also for alteast the 1st week coming home i recommend huggies newborn u shaped for the umbilical cord so it dont rob an irritate
- walmart and or sams club and i perfer pampers and to stock up on size 1 instead of newborns cause they grow so fast when there that little that it seems that most of the m stay at 1-2 so good luck
- its good to be prepared but dont stock up... some babies have allergic reaction to certain brands of diapers that causes a rash.. but.... i have found with all 3 of my children that LUVS brand seems to be the best.. there is never any leaks at all and they strech around their waste instead of sqeezing them.. and they smell like baby powder too and walmart is the cheapest place.. you can buy case boxes with like 120 diapers for 18.00 its worth it! STOCK UP ON bottles nipples clothes/socks blankets bath stuff there are some ideas i hope they help!
- Size 1. You need at least 300 sizeN (newborn) diapers to get through that first month. But babies grow out of them quickly because they're only for up to 12 lbs. and newborns grow remarkably fast. You can start Size 1's early because they can be folded-over -- and a lot of babies these days are born 9 - 10 lbs anyway (the overdue ones). If there's a chance the baby could be premature, though, definitely stock up on Newborns exclusively for the first 3 months. I've gotten the best deals at Walgreen's and Sam's Club. Sam's Club you can buy in bulk, and it's like $15 for 356 diapers (up to size 4). That's like a month's worth of diapers! At Walgreen's they have store-brand big 80-something packs for about $5. Both seem like great deals to me. Target and Walmart are competitors, so their prices change whenever it goes down a couple cents at either of these two. I've never shopped at Buy Buy Baby or Costcos, so you may want to compare their brands first. I'm addicted to Babies'R'Us when it comes to browsing strollers and other toys, but I've never thought to look at the pricing of diapers there. Good luck! Congratulations!
- I would say Walmart has the cheapest diapers at regular prices, but Target has the best sales AND they put out coupons that you can combine with manufacturer's coupons to get a better price. Walmart never puts diapers on sale. I don't know about Sam's Club, Costco, or Buy Buy Baby, but I do know Babies R Us puts diapers on sale once in a blue moon. They do, however, put out great coupons so you can get the diapers cheaper Newborn diapers go up to 10lbs and I didn't even buy a pack of newborn diapers as my boy was 9lbs 10ozs at birth. I would say stock up on the size 1's and size 2's and buy the newborns as you need them. Also, try and use a store that will allow you to exchange diapers for a bigger size if your baby outgrows them before you get to use them all up. I do know that Walmart is good for this.
- I LIKE I800DIAPERS.COM THEY SHIP THEM TO YOU AND THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN IN MY AREA.
- i love the costco kind, personally. The come and 1-2 size and 3 size the 1-2 is 8-15lbs and the size 3 is 16-28lbs. They come in a huge box and are cheap but very nice! i was so impressed. If you are not happy they also have a great return policy. They are made by huggies and have a patent on them but they are sold by kirkland (costco brand) i love thier wipes too! i didnt buy any NB size they gave me some @ the hospital and then you just fold the size 1 down and strap it on
- sams club sells Huggies by the cae of 264, size 1-2 for $37 plus tax. thats the best deal I have found, myself((other than the cheap generic kind which I tried and didnt like)) my daughter was born 6 lb 12oz and was in newborn for 2 months, til she hit 10 lb. I used swaddlers (pamperS) the whole time. but when I went to size 1 I had tons of leaks, so I went on a search for another brand. I tried 5 brands and decided on Huggies.
- COSTCO!! Just tonight I had to go buy an off brand form somewhere other than costco for the first time in a year and I swear I spent 20 minutes deciding which kind to get cause they are expensive. You get like somwhere around $250 (depending on diaper size) at costco for like $38 (also depending on if you have tax... im from oregon so no tax lol) AND they work the best cause they are huggies. Also the Costco brand diapers are almost exactly like Huggies. Good diapers
