my daughter has a mild diaper rash, should I change her diaper in the middle of the night?
She is 13 months & sleeps through the night. She has a mild diaper rash. I put her in a cloth diaper (as those are softer & better than the disposables) in hopes to help clear up the rash. Should I wake her to change her diaper in the middle of the night? Thanks everyone! She has a cream on & is sound asleep right now. I'll just change her first thing in the morning.

- If you know she's gone #2 in the middle of the night, then yes I'd wake her and change her. If it's just wet, you're probably fine with covering her with a good layer of diaper cream before bed and changing her first thing in the morning.
- I wouldn't unless she wakes up - especially since it's mild. I would just put on the diaper cream/powder/ or whatever you are using and let her sleep. Then make sure she gets changed regularly through out the day.
- no you shouldn't. just use a cream and put a clean fresh diaper on her before bed and change her and clean her well as soon as she wakes up.
- change her diaper before you go to bed, apply Lotrimen, air her bottom out more often during the day & consider this as an excuse to start potty training. increase her intake of probiotics, avoid cow's milk products, give her more water during the day, and see the pediatrician. wash all hands well.
