Their is a special on a 144 pack but my friend keeps telling me not to buy more as I will get heaps at my baby shower. But i don't even no if ill get any as the last baby shower i went to she got none. How many packets did you stock up on before the birth? Thanks!

- I would say you change ur baby after every fed. So you are talking about 8 times a day. It just depends how many ou want to have. don't buy to many of new born thou as they grow up so fast and you don't want then to go to waste. A few packs should do
- personally i wouldnt stock up on loads and loads as they may grow out of say newborn size quickly then ud be stuck with loads of nappies and what to do with them but maybe get few sizes ready etc
- id says the more the better, you can never have to many nappies when its comes to babies, can you.lol
- It's always a good idea to change your little one often. This will definitely reduce the chances of diaper rash. I also recommend not always using baby wipes but to sometimes wash the little one in the sink! My baby is ^ months old and has never had diaper rash. I would hold off on buying anymore until after the baby is born so that you know what size she will wear.
- I'm also expecting (due 4th November) and for the last couple of months, every time I go shopping I buy a pack of nappies. Bear in mind that in general a newborn baby will get through 10 nappies in 24 hours. This means that your 108 pack of nappies will last 11 days! You may well get heaps at your baby shower but you cannot have too many. Your baby will be wearing the same size nappy for a while because most new baby nappies are for babies up to 11 pounds, a few brands are even up to 14 pounds! It wouldn't hurt to buy a few packs of the next size up as well. I'm buying a pack a week to spread the cost and works out cheaper in the long run to buy the big packs of 100 or more nappies. I probably have around 300 nappies in my baby cupboard right now but at 10 nappies a day they will last me a month so get as many as you can! Definitely buy the 144 pack while it's on special, in fact, maybe you should buy 3 or 4 if you have the money; trust me, you won't believe how many nappies your baby will get through!
- I bought 2 packs of 27 and one pack of 34, that was it! lol You have enough at the moment and you can buy some more after baby is born. Make sure your well stocked on baby wipes tho.... i only bought 4 packs of those.... and i defo underestimated how many id go through.... u need loads and loads of them!! If your having a natural birth Id suggest u buy some tea tree oil for in hte bath afterwards, its a life saver!
- if your gonna buy more buy them in size 2 as ur baby will be in size 2 longer than he/she will be in size 1.. i have 8 packs of about 24 nappies in newborn, and 2 more big packs (maybe 100 in total) of size 2..
- My first daughter was due on your due date :-) But she arrived on the 6th instead. I honestly don't stock up on nappies too much. As with my first I had so many packets left over it wasn't funny because she outgrew newborn so quickly. She was only in newborn sized nappies for maybe 2 weeks and that was the same with my next daughter and then my son. So I didn't need to buy any newborn sized nappies with my second daughter as I still had so many left over from my first daughter. And when I was pregnant with my son I only bought a couple of packets and then bought the size I needed in our normal grocery shopping once I ran out. I'd get maybe two packets of the 108 pack and then see how it goes. Your little one may stay in them longer or be in the next size pretty quickly. Just do what you think is best. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy :-)
