I'm planning to embark on a chemistry project whereby I will test the ability of various materials in absorbing oil. The base behind the topic is that the result can be used to better absorb excessive oil found in most fried food. Some of the materials are tissue, kitchen towel, sponge, cotton, and disposable diapers. However, I'm not sure if disposable diapers can be used to absorb oil since from what I know, it can only absorb water. Thanks~
