- usually from the age of 1, they will accomplish walking, as for potty training, that would be based on when you and your little one is ready for it, Usually about 18 months.
- Well, for being out of diapers that will depend on when he's potty trained and boys tend to be more difficult to potty train, normally around 2-3 years of age. Walking, I started walking at 9 months, all of my kids started walking around 10 months.... some take up to 12 or more. All depends on the child.
- My daughter has just started walking tin the last few days and she is 15 months old. I havn't started to toilet train her yet, i'm going to start around 18 months, not sure how sucsessful i'll be cause i am due when she is 20months with our second baby! our timing was out a little! good idea on waiting till your son is out of his nappies!
- my son started walking around a year old and was potty trained by around 2 years 9 months. I think thats about average.
- hi elle i am really excited to see that uwant to know when ur son starts walking when he is about 2 months now...really happy...my first son hs started walking now and he is about 14 months now...and he almost out of his nappies now...we generally use nappies when we r out and at night times ...i do now have another 2 month old son
- obviously every child is different,my daughter walked when she was 9 months old and out of nappies at around 2 n half,my son walked at 7 months! and is still in nappies as he is 1,my friends child walked when she was 18 months still in nappies now she about 20 months,i myself walked at 14 months out of nappies at two,my mother in law says my husband walked at 3 months!?...no way. every child is different though. at three your child will be walking and should be nappy free.
- These days it seems the norm to potty train later but most kids will show signs of being ready to start potty training between 14 and 24 months. I've had one totally out of nappies, day and night by 18 months and my last one was 29 months before he was totally out of them. So you can see that a rough idea really gives a very wide age range. My oldest walked at 10 month, 2nd walked at 8 months, 3rd and 4th walked the week of the 1st birthdays EDIT AS FOR THE THUMBS DOWN FOR EVERYONE EITHER SOMEONE HAS A CHILD THAT IS SOOO FAR BEHIND THAT THEY FEEL INADEQUATE OR THEY JUST HAVE NO LIFE
- My son, was able to move around by 6 months, crawled properly at 9 and at 14 has only just started walking. as to nappies, to be dry day and night, it could be 2 and a half. I'd just go for it, you've got one set of nappies, whats one more, otherwise you'll have nappies for about 4-5 years. I think when No. 1 is 18 months would be a good time to start for No. 2 - but that's just me.
- My daughter was walking by 10 months and was potty training when she was 2. Tip: Potty train in the summer - you can let them run around in the garden with only a t-shirt on which makes accidents less of a pain, and there are less clothes to get wet if they have an accident when you're out.
- It's very different, my daughter walked at 10 months, but my friends child is 13 months now and still doesn't walk..! So it really does vary! I suppose it is the same with Nappy's, although i am determined to have my daughter potty trained by the time she is 2!! :-)
- My daughter started walking around 13 months. She was potty trained by 3 years. Good luck and enjoy your new baby boy.
- My son walked at 11 months and was out of nappies at 33 months My daughter also walked at 11 months and was out of nappies at 30 months, she is 36 months now but she still wears one at night just in case.
- some baby's can start walking very early like 10 months and but normally will be around 1yr. and for the Nappy's my daughter was out of Nappy's at the age of two in some cases they can be older depending on if they feel ready.
- My daughter was 16 months before she walked unaided. She has just turned 3 and is out of nappies during the day. She still wears them at night though.
- My son was walking at ten months and fully potty trained at 2 years and 7 months.
- Hey there! My son started walking at 13 months He's now 21 months, and I haven't touched potty training yet. He could care less!
- My daughter took her first steps aged almost 11 months and had completely mastered the skill by 12.5 months. My friends baby was a fully accomplished walker by 10 months. Another wasn't walking until 15 months. I'd say if they aren't showing signs of beginning to walk by 18 months you'd need to see your paediatrician. Toilet training: They reccommend not starting until 18 months because babies simply do not have control over the correct muscles until this age. If you start earlier you will just be training for longer and be setting yourself (and your child) up for more failure. Most kids still need nappies at night for quite a while after they are dry during the day. Most are out of nappies completely by 3. Good luck with conceiving you next bub :)
- 11 month and onwards for walking (roughly) and whenever the child is old enough to understand a POTTY so prob about 2 - 3 x
- Most kids walk between 10 months and 18 months, the average is 12 months. At 12 months 50 percent of kids are walking. Potty training for a typical child usually occurs between 2.5 years and 4 years old for a boy (6 months earlier for a girl) on average My kids have delays and have received intervention by specialists, the above is not my opinion but fact. My kids walked at 15 months, 14months and 13 months They potty trained at 3.5yrs, 2.5 yrs, and the youngest is 2.5 yrs and shows no interest yet though is starting to not like to be in a dirty diaper and will come to me immediately after a BM. They are all boys
- my little boy was one last week and he has been walking since about 9 months but has only just started to get his confidence walking everywhere eg when we are shopping or at the park beforehand he wanted to be carried after a while As nappies am not to sure as he is my 1st but I think its normal around 18 months but each child is different Good Luck in try for another
- My daughter walked at like 10-11 months. She's 2 now and we're starting to work on it. She hasn't shown any interest. It's differet for every child. 2-3 for potty training
