Hi i am considering beginning to use reusable nappies for my toddler what do you think?
I think now she is older it would save me money as disposable potty training nappies are so expensive. Can you recommend brands/ give general advice! Thanks!!

- if she is a toddler, why don't you just switch to training pants? it sounds like she's old enough to be potty trained if you're considering the disposable potty training kind. they the same concept as cloth nappies, but she can pull them up and down on her own like the disposable potty training pants. gerber makes some that are pretty inexpensive, you can get kind that are just like underwear with thick padding, or you can find some that have built in plastic covers so she won't get her clothes wet if she has an accident. either option would be much better than trying to mess with cloth diapers, especially since it takes more time to change and with a wiggly toddler that can be irritating.
- The girls I nanny for used the Kushies brand training pant. Never leaked for them. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4601026&sourceid=1500000000000003260330&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=4601026
- I used Imse Vimse training pants, and they were great. Leaks weren't an issue at all. They were a little pricey, but worth it for a kid who took forever to potty train. Niji training pants aren't as absorbent but work well for a child who has an accident here and there. They're more like regular underpants, but they have a waterproof barrier. They may seem pretty expensive, but you only need to buy a few of them (4-6) if you're willing to do a load of wash every day at first. They're also sturdy enough to last through more than one child.
