- oh i've been to agadir, and you'll love it, it's beautiful! i'm not sure if there are big supermarkets but they definetly have full fat milk and diapers on basically every street. there basically like corner stores full of basic grocery items. the milk will be fine! and if you don't trust it, just bring some powdered milk. have fun! you should visit the Club Med there, loads of fun. x
- There are two large supermarkets in Agadir, Aswaak Asalaam and Marjane (with another Aswaak Asalaam on the way inshaAllah). You can buy nappies here of course, there are many brands like Huggies, Pampers, Peuduce, etc. You can pick up regular Pampers (plastic covered ones) at any hanoot on the street. As far as the milk. There is milk here that is advertised as full fat BUT I do not believe it is. We know someone who works for one of the milk producers here and he said that they add water to ALL the milk. WHEN I can't find lait croissance (special milk formulated for 1year +) I have to resort to the regular for my 14 month old. It is obviously not as filling to her as the lait croissance as she needs 1 1/2 times as much to be satisfied. Most hanoots, super marche and both super markets carry lait croissance though sometimes they run out and don't get it in for a couple weeks at a time! There is also Nido powder substitute that is formulated for children. I'd use it myself but my daughter can't hold it down. Go for the lait croissance or Nido when you're here. Edit: Fresh cows milk IS NOT 'aways good' and is NOT recommended for small children. duh
- Any big supermarket.
- cow milk ROFL people don t have many things to worry about but cow milk well guess what ,there s cows in the streets of agadir, they pass and they scream moue Just go down ,put a dollars and get your milk very easy good luck
- Not sure about the cows milk being full fat or not but it tastes fine to me. Regarding nappies though take my advise and bring whatever you can with you as the prices in the supermarkets are well over the top. For example I had to pay 23 DHs for one pack of really poor quality baby wipes when in the UK I can get three packets of top quality wipes for £3 from Boots. The same applies to the nappies. As for jars of baby food unless you go to the Marjane on the way to Inzegane forget it as Agadir's local supermarkets are useless. If your flying from the UK just stock up at the duty free boots at the airport after you have checked in. But don't let any of this put you off, Moroccan's love children and will dot over your little cherub!
- fresh cow milk is always good quality but to be in the safe row buy milk from the grocery or the small shops
- Are you laughing ? OVER THAN 200 Supermarkets in MOROCCO. no stupidity here please.
