  1. You should be out within 2-4days so take a weeks worth just to be on the safe side. - Hope all goes well 4u....x
  2. it depends on your length of stay, but if about 3 days then you will need about 2 vests per day, probably only 1 babygrow per day as most of the time they just sleep in their vests as the hospital is a bit too warm. 1 pack of nappies is enough, and believe me, you will be changing them so often for the first few weeks, go for the cheap ones. save the dearer ones for when they move onto solids. for the u.k like me, then for 6-8 hours stay (allow for more in case of a longer stay) go for 3 vestsd and 2 babygrows and about 10 nappies. good luck
  3. pack 2-3 of vests and baby gros, take a small bag of nappies as you never know how many you will get (i took a 28 nappy bag). check what hospital provides in way of blankets, sheets, towels as all are different. then pack a separate labour bag for you and in this put a vest, babygro, hat, nappy and blanket for midwife to dress your newborn in as soon as he/she is born. leave hospital stay bag in car when you go in, taking only labour bits. get your birthing partner to bring in hospital stay bag later if you need it. if you are hoping to be out after 6 hours then pack yours and babies going home stuff, but put it in a bag inside the case so that if you are staying longer you can put it aside. remember you will still be a pregnant size so pack for you accordingly! then leave at home bag with extras packed for both of you in case stay is longer than expected. .
