what are the best disposable diapers to use on your baby?
i'm not looking for the most expensive kind or anything. just the ones that rarely leak and help to keep your baby from getting a diaper rash. i'm going to be a new mom soon, so i want to plan right

- go to shopping mall
- pampers...but they are kind of expensive luvs...if you want a good bargain
- Pampers work really well. We tried luvs on our kids but they leaked.
- Depends on the kid. My oldest had to have Luvs because everytime I changed the brand he got a rash. My sister swears by the walmart brand because they are unscented. I really like Pampers swaddlers for a newborn personally but not the reg pampers. Congrats and good luck.
- LUVS!! Have you seen the commercials!! The commercials don't lie! They really are the best and the least expensive. I have two children and that is all I used and will use. I even put it on my registry. I would not accept any other brand.
- huggies are the best
- luvs I used them on all3 of my kids and never had a problem with leaks plus they are not expensive
- Believe me the expensive diapers are just a waste. If you change your child on a regular basis the very cheap diapers will do the trick. Buying diapers that hold more are rediculous. Just because the box says up to 25 pounds does not mean it will hold 25 pounds of urine.
- My daughter got diaper rash from huggies and all the generic kinds. Pampers leaked BAD and when she took a big poop it always escaped out of the back and went up her shirt. We use Luvs. They are actually the cheapest of brand names and work great and fit comfortably!
- I've used luvs the whole time on my daughter who is potty training now and haven't had any problems, occasionally we had tried the store brands from like K-mart and had major leaking problems won't do that again LOL.
- Huggies Supremes. They are the best for the money and don't leak. They are stretchy at the sides to allow for movement, pampers aren't. I liked papmpers except for that one reason. Plus, I always had a coupon from the paper or from the website everytime I bought a bag. It made them cheaper per diaper than pampers.
- I always stuck with pampers. I tried others but they didn't hold up. But Luvs is a cheaper alternative to pampers they work and aren't to expensive.
- both my girls wore huggies no problems....luvs leaked. we also used a cheaper version from wal mart called white cloud, but we seemed to change diaper more often?
- I found that Huggies are really good for girl, luvs leaked so bad on my baby, and pampers did too. I guess you have find out yourself what fit your baby the best.
- For my son Huggies are the best..they are kinda of expensive but if you go to the huggies website and sign up they send you a lot of coupons for diapers, wipes, lotions, ets. I have been using them since my son was born and he never leaks...he always leaked through pampers
- Every baby's shape is different, so the type of diaper you use is probably going to be based upon trial and error. We had to try 3 types of diapers before we found one that prevented my son from getting rashes or leaking. We went through Huggies, Luvs, White Cloud & we finally settled on Pampers. The Pampers Swaddlers are soft and gentle and they are plyable so they fit nicely against the shape of your baby. We tried the Pampers Baby Dry but didn't like them because there was no mobility, they aren't plyable. Pampers Swaddlers were the best.
- Luvs
- We've had the best luck with Pampers, particularly the Swaddlers.
