What can I use to get rid of diaper rash?
I've changed diaper brands, used several different kinds of cream, and used powder.... my little one has excema and keeps a diaper rash all the time. Can anyone suggest anything to clear it up?

- Triple Paste is the best.
- Triple Paste will clear that up in no time! It is awesome.
- butt paste works miracles....also...talk to your pedi...we used vusion from the doctor ( I think) it's supposed to be for yeast infections in the diaper area...we used it a few days and haven't seen a diaper rash in months!
- My son had excema too and had bad diaper rash for quite some time. I used Boudreaux's Butt Paste and it was GREAT!!! It got rid of the diaper rash real quick! Good Luck!
- if its excema you be better of going to get some cream off the doc
- i had to get a Rx from my doct fro my daughter's nasty little rash that she has now. its some kind of topical cream. but I know that the BUTT PASTE works miracles on anything. my daughter had a wierd little rash on her chin below her lower lip from sticking her tongue out all of the time so our daycare lady used it on her and its almsot gone.
- cetaphil or desitin
- We use Bordeaux's Butt Paste. It was featured on the Oprah show. It works very well & does not have a mediciney smell.
- I always used Desitin and it worked great, but there may be new things on the market now...lol,my boys are 21 and 24 ☺
- Aquaphor... Or, has the ped confirmed it's exema? Sometimes a diaper rash is caused by a yeast infection and you need a special cream for that.
- Sounds like your baby has very sensitive skin. My baby had serious diaper rash (requiring prescription creams) but making a few changes cleared it up. I switched to cloth diapers, and it helped a ton. You have to change them more frequently though. Homemade baby wipes with tea tree and aloe. Extra strength zincofax. Also, if yeast is the suspected culprit, a probiotic may be helpful.
- the best cream i ever used was a+d ontinment. some people suggest corn starch. if its serious you should see a doctor who can prescibe something. make sure your baby isnt sitting in wet diapers for long amounts of time helps prevent it.
- exposure to air nappy free 1 hour a day, wash with water and soap for each change and make sure you dry her very well then put some barrier cream.change her frequently.hope that helps
- I would talk to your doctor and see if you need a special cream for your baby. But for now you can use triple paste that works pretty good for diaper rashes. He could also be allergic to the diapers that you are using. Have you tried Seventh Generation diapers? They have no chlorine in them which could be the cause of diaper rashes from other diapers. Other diapers contain chlorine and some babies are allergic to it. I would go and buy those diapers. Babiesrus and buybuybaby sell them or you can go on to there website and order them. I hope you little ones bottom feels better soon.
- what causes rash is if the milk is too hot..it breaks out on the baby....if you are breast feeding, you are eating something that is not right for the baby...because I did not want to put those cream that sticks to the bum,and make them cry so much because of the itch...my doctor made me use Cornstarch baby powder, and it did work, stopped lots of itch, and I change them more often that made a big difference..remember their pampers are wet most of the time sometimes they feel it sometimes they don't ...it is all up to you as a parent,it's what you are more comfortable with..
- I use Aveeno diaper rash cream and I swear by it (as I do most of their other products as well). If my son's bum is starting to get red, I put on a thin layer and honestly, it looks better by the next diaper change. He's 9 1/2 months and has *never* had a full-blown diaper rash.
