What brand of disposable diapers do you use for your newborn?

I've tried Huggies, Luvs and Pampers (baby is 7 weeks old) and I prefer Pampers. You?

  1. Pampers are my favorite.
  2. I used the safeway or Fred Meyer (kroger) brand. They worked just as well and are a fraction of the cost. Good luck to you.
  3. Pampers
  4. pampers swaddlers
  5. Out of all the diapers I absolutly loved pampers, but huggies was a close second. I made the mistake of trying cheaper store brands and my son leaked through them. So with my girl I am about to have I am going pampers all the way!
  6. i liked the pampers, but they broke his little butt out in blisters so i gave those away and he has to wear luvs now.
  7. we have tried them all except luv's plus some generic brands like white cloud and parent's choice. we actually prefer white cloud. they seem to work the best. we also like pampers. huggies weren't that great. they seem small and leak even though he is the right weight for the size.
  8. i have a little boy, and i found that no diaper works better for us than huggies.. i have a lot of problems with leakage.. and huggies work best for my son. ;)
  9. My son was a premie and Pampers Swaddlers was the only thing that fit (the Premie diapers were still big but somehow didn't leak). Even now that he's bigger, I won't use anything else because everything we tried leaked. And we tried everything...including Huggies (which is what I planned to use but leak like all the rest). Pampers may be a litte more expensive but if they save on laundry and keep him clean(er)...they're worth it! I don't understand why more diaper companies haven't figured out how to make decent diapers!
  10. I have 4 young children, and we love Pampers swaddlers and Custom cruisers. Huggies gave my children rashes.
  11. We used Pampers Swaddlers when my daughter was a newborn. They were the best as far as I could tell. We started using cloth diapers after she was 3 months old and I will definitely do cloth from day one with the next babies! Now when we want to use a "disposable" we use gDiapers. They have a cotton outer-pant with a waterproof snap-in liner (both are washable and reusable) and then you stick "disposable" pads into the liner. The pads are chlorine free and plastic free and they can be flushed, composted or tossed. They break down in 50-150 days as opposed to the proposed 500 years for a standard plastic disposable diaper to break down! I prefer cloth diapers, but the gDiapers are a close 2nd. http://www.gdiapers.com/
  12. pampers is the best because it doesnt cause any irritation for the baby
  13. Anyone that confirms to the shape of the baby. I hate leaks. After that, the cheapest that gets the job done.
  14. I love pampers swaddlers for newborns. They were great. But as my girls grow I tend to switch to Huggies. They seem to hold more especially at night.
  15. parent's choice by walmart are just as good as any other brand, only cheaper.....
  16. Pampers are the best for us! I tried them all, including some of the cheap store brands, and they all seemed to leak. Loved the Swaddlers, but now my DD is in the Cruisers.
  17. When my son was an infant, Huggies worked perfectly. Once he was mobile, we had to switch to Pampers. By the time he was 10 months old we had discovered the Sam's brand diapers which are MUCH cheaper and are of the same quality as Pampers and Huggies Supremes. The only time he ever has a leak is if he had something to drink too close to bed time. (He's 27 mo)
  18. i used huggies at first. i guess it was because the hospital used it. i switched to pampers cruisers when he started moving more. they hold up a lot better than huggies.
  19. i prefer Huggies Supreme but I hear good things about Pampers. Do not use Luvs! Very cheap! If trying to save $ use the store brand like White Cloud or Parents Choice.
  20. so far, pamper's swaddlers are the best. my son is 3 weeks old and would be soaked when I used huggies and luvs. the swaddlers are so soft too.
  21. We loved the Pampers Swaddlers. I found that Huggies leaked constantly, and we never tried Luvs.
  22. when she was new born i used pampers swaddlers, i didn't like huggies then when she got to the next size i switched the huggies supreme because i felt they fit better then I switched to pampers baby dry and then I switched to luvs when i found out that the pampers baby dry and luvs are the exact same diaper made by the same company just aren't as cute with the characters all over them but who needs cute when the baby is gonna poop in them anyway right :) i didn't like the super cheap ones at all they were stiff which i thought would be uncomfortable and they leaked
  23. Pampers Swaddlers when he was a newborn. Now 8 months and using Pampers Cruisers during the day, and Huggies Overnites while sleeping. The Overnites are hard to find in my area but are definitely worth it.
  24. For new babies, nothing compared to Pampers Swaddlers
  25. I have both pampers and huggies in my arsenal. However, after bringing my daughter home from the hospital two weeks ago, I quickly found that huggies fit her better.
  26. i use Costco store brand diapers they work well and the price is great
  27. HUGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
