Diaper Rash? I have a 2 month old she was in the hospital for about a week she was given lots of antibiotics and she still poops a lot and it develop a diaper rash! I have tried so many things from desitin to home remedies and it doesn't go away even her pediatrician said to put in her tush Mylanta and it should go away and it didn't work. Any one out there have any suggestions willing to try anything! Desparate Mother!

what kind of diaper rash ointment can I use with cloth diapers? So far, my youngest hasn't broken out in a rash from wearing cloth diapers overnight with plastic pants. How do you know if a diaper rash caused by the brand of diaper? My son is a month old. He had a yeast infection that was caught early. He was in Huggies. The infection went away. Then we went to Parent's Choice from Walmart and he got an diaper rash right away. I assumed it was the daipers. We are now trying another name brand and the rash is there. Anyone have ideas on how to get rid of diaper rash? My 17 month old son has had this rash for going on 3 weeks now! I've used Boudreaux's Butt Paste, which has been a God-send in the past, and I've also used hydrocortisone and Bactroban. I even give him a quick bath after each diaper change then pat him dry. It's hurting him so bad that he won't sit on his right butt cheek. Anyone have any home remedies that I may not know about? Just to be clear, for the one that said for me to change his diaper (DUH!), he gets his diaper changed as soon as he wets or poops and I've been doing it ever since this started. My child does have irritability to zinc and zinc oxide witch is contained in most diaper creams. She also, amazingly enough, is sensitive to aquaphor and similar jellies. My baby gets diaper rash when we use the normal wipes with her. Does anyone know about wipes that would help? For months my baby was fine with the normal diaper wipes. But recently she started getting diaper rash. If we skip the wipes and instead rinse her after every change she is fine. The wipes are non-allergenic, but give her a rash anyway. Washing her after every change is a solution but it is much harder than the wipes. Does anyone know of wipes that would be gentler - or is a cream a better solution? Thank you for the help.
